Hi, there! I’m Alexandria Wagner and I love a lot of things. I’m a tech unicorn, hockey enthusiast, omni-geek, animal lover, and most of all: omni-crafter.

I have a varied background professionally. I’ve worked in media such as newspapers, magazines, television, and the web. This is not the first blog I’ve written. Back in the day, I had a blog called “Wired World” where I wrote about technology. I also used to teach web and media design at the Art Institute. I currently run a team of hella talented web engineers, most of whom are artists too. We creative types tend to stick together. So you’re in good company!
I also have a side-gig making digital art posters, stickers, accessories, and jewelry that I sell at comic book and geek conventions (when we’re not in the middle of a pandemic) and on Etsy. If you visit geek conventions in Nevada and Arizona, you’ve likely run into me at my booth, Vixen Vision Design, or when I’m sharing space with my friends Natalie and Morgan Carpenter with Apocalypse Too.
What can you expect to see here?
I love teaching people new things too so you’ll see maker tutorials, tips & tricks, tidbits I’ve picked up over the years, and a plethora of inspirational quotes. I publish Thoughtful Thursday quotes on various social media platforms and I will include those here too.
Repurposing things is another passion of mine so you’ll see a fair bit about how you can “reclaim matter” (see what I did there 😉 ) to make cool things or just reduce waste in our world.
I’m a technonerd and I want to help other creatives navigate the waters of the interwebs so you’ll see some information about how to leverage the Internet for your creative business, Etsy tips I discover, and web design help.
Table-top gaming, especially Dungeons and Dragons, is one of my passions too. The occasional video game gets played as well so you’ll likely see some information about what games I’ve found that are really cool and things of that nature. I’m also a big Star Wars, Star Trek, Comic Book, and Firefly fan. Just about all the sci-fi genre stuff is my jam.
Friends are what makes life fun and interesting! I plan to have some of my creative friends contribute here on the blog so you’ll see a lot of different things.
And I’m sure there will be cat photos(and fox, because I’m obsessed with foxes), though most of that you can see on my Instagram on the regular too.
